This is a vintage linen blouse by German designer Alke Boker. The sleeves and back are made with a loose weave linen while the front panels and pockets use a softer tight weave linen. Centre-front shell buttons. Collarless neckline.

Born in Hamburg, Alke Boker moved to New York City in 1976 after the death of her husband. She spent a few years designing for Pierre Cardin before founding her own label in the early 1980s. The company ran until the early 1990s.
